Where is the club located?

The venue is located on the second floor, and the entrance is to the right of our restaurant (EMPIRE Chinese Kitchen). 

How can I get tickets to a show at EMPIRE?

You can purchase tickets online by clicking the BUY TICKETS icon on any event on our website.  We also have an mobile box office at the venue.  We do not provide physical tickets, but upon purchasing tickets from our mobile box office, you will receive your tickets via email, and be placed on a will call list.   If tickets do not sell out in advance, they will be sold at the door (Cash or Credit) on the night of the show. If you’re unsure, please call the EMPIRE to inquire.

If a show is cancelled, where do I get a refund?

If a show is canceled, you will be refunded at your point of purchase.  Refunds may take up to 5 - 7 business days to process for online and mobile box office sales.  Refunds are only available if an event is canceled.

What are my payment options in the venue?

We accept most forms of payment. Cash, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa.  If tickets do not sell out in advance, they will be sold at the door on the night of the show.

How old do I have to be to get into the club?

Please check the show description to verify age limits for individual shows. Security is present at every show to verify your age.

I’ve never been to Empire before, do I get a seat or is it general admission?

Empire is a general admission venue and most shows are standing room only with LIMITED seating available. We do provide seating for certain events such as comedy, songwriters shows, etc. Please note, all seating is first come first serve.

I’m in a band, how can I get us a show booked at EMPIRE?

Do I need to bring ID?

Of course you do! Government-issued VALID photo ID is required for entry to all shows.

What are the usual set times?

Set times are not typically available until the evening of the show. Please note that our professional team of engineers does its best to keep all shows running on time, but every once in a while a show runs late. Don’t get upset. Remember: It’s a rock ’n’ roll show. Enjoy your time out of the house.

Do you serve alcohol?

You better believe it! We have a full bar, with a great liquor selection, several draft lines and bottled/canned beers from micro and macro breweries.

Do you have a coat check?

No.

Is there re-entry?

Yes, you can go outside to smoke and come back in. 

Where do I park?

Generally parking is found on the street, but there are also multiple parking garages and lots nearby that charge by the hour.

Other EMPIRE Rules and FAQs:

  • No fliers, stickers, or handbills promoting other venues unless cleared with manager.
  • If you lose an item at a show, please call 207-588-2279 the following day.
  • All shows are general admission.
  • Bags are subject to be searched.
  • No outside food, beverages, markers, spray paint, weapons (including pocket knives).
  • You must show proof of age by valid government-issued photo ID (and/or obtain a wristband for 18+) to be served at the bar.
